2.  MINUTES: The Minutes of the June 2007 meeting were read and approved.

3.  TREASURER’S REPORT: The Treasurer’s Report was not presented.

4.  OLD BUSINESS:
            a.  GOLF TOURNAMENT for the FTVA Reunion:  Joe Hurst.  Everything is on track, we have around 45 people signed up so far.  That is about what we had at this time last year.
            b.  Transition from AIA to Air Force ISR Agency.  Complete.  No further action required from FTVA.
            c.  2008 Calendars.  Doug Holden ordered 100 calendars for next year.  He brought in some sample photos that will be included.
            d.  GAFB NCOA Closure.  Marco Aldaz.  The Goodfellow Air Force Base NonCommissioned Officer Academy will permanently close its doors probably in May of 2008.  Marco is working with the Commandant of the Academy to ensure proper disposition of the historic articles of interest that are in the building.  Expect some of that material to end up on Security Hill.
            e.  FTVA Reunion Banquet Video.  There will be a video this year, and it has some current events material included.  Will show the video in one of the side rooms at the club during cocktail hour, same as last year.

5.  NEW BUSINESS:
            a.  Dedication of Building 2007 as Larson Hall.  Building 2007 on Security Hill will be redesignated as Larson Hall on the 27th of July.  This will be in honor or retired Major General Doyle Larson, the last commander of USAFSS, and the first commander of ESC.
            b.  Request for financial support for AF ISR Agency redesignation ceremony.  Major General Craig Koziol, Commander of the new Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Agency, requested FTVA support for the ceremony where the Air Intelligence Agency transition to become the Air Force ISR Agency.  Motion made, seconded, and approved.
            c.  SENSOR OLYMPICS 2007.  MSgt John Knotts.  This year’s SENSOR O will be 22 – 26 OCT here in San Antonio.  There will be a luncheon specifically for FTVA and the SENSOR O competitors.  This luncheon is offered as a way for the SENSOR O people to show appreciation for all that the FTVA does for them, as well as share information about FTVA in hopes of finding new members.  Request max participation for the luncheon.
            d.  FTVA Constitution and ByLaws will have to be updated now that AIA no longer exists.  The requirement is to publish the info at least 30 days before a vote is taken by the general membership.  Not enough time to get the word out so people can vote on it at the annual meeting in SEP this year.  Considering best approach to ensure this is done correctly.  Options include getting the word out in the next newsletter for either a write-in (to include email) vote by the general membership, or perhaps vote in person at the Spring Fling next year.  OPEN.
            e.  AUGUST FTVA BOD Meeting will be held in the AF ISR Agency Commander’s Conference Room on Friday, the 17th of August at 1330.

6.  There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 1420.  The next meeting will be 1330, 17 August 2007, in the Air Force ISR Agency Commander’s Conference Room.

Respectfully Submitted,

Loren R. "Phred” Sevening
